Day1. Arrival and drive to Negombo
Fill your lungs with salty air in Negombo watching the splashing waves after a long flight, accepting our warm welcome. Visit the local fish market walking through yards and yards long sheets patterned with drying fishes. Witness huge fishes while opening your month for ‘ooah’ with surprise and learning about the amazing fishing industry of the city.
Spend a tranquil evening enjoying a delectable seafood dish in a famous restaurant after admiring the colours of falling sun behind the Indian Ocean. Transfer to hotel to relax for the next day of your food tour.
Day2. Drive to Sigiriya
The food tour will commence after having breakfast by the Negombo beach. Then you will be heading to next destination of the food tour, Sigiriya.
Ride on a bullock cart enjoying the rhythmic sway to the village and get on a catamaran and sail to the other side of the lake to reach our farm house while dipping your fingertips in the cold lake’s water. At the Farmer’s house experience your first live cooking demonstration of traditional rice and curry,kurakkan roti,manioc and famous Coconut Sambol.
In the evening climb the long fleet of steps in Sigiriya, an ancient fortress with scenic gardens, stunning landscapes and amazing fountains stretching your legs and transfer to your hotel for the night.
Day3. Head to Polonnaruwa ancient city and safari to see the wild elephant
The food tour drive to Polonnaruwa to listen to some interesting tales of Sri Lankan history unfold the grandeur and the glory of the ancient city of Polonaruwa. Walk among the giant stone pillars decorated with stunning caving, amazing ruins of the royal palace and sky high Dagabos.
Later in the day jump on a safari jeep to explore the wild and the spectacular wildlife of Minneriya national park where you’ll get the chance to catch glimpse of leopards, wild boars, deer, peacocks and foxes and to be a witness of the world’s largest elephant gathering. Enjoy some dishes from the unique dry zone cuisine of the island popular for homemade spice mixtures that can add a divine taste to any meal.
Day 4. Drive to Kandy and on the way Dambulla cave temple
Travel out to Dambulla cave temple complex saturated with warm colours and stunning Buddha statues while laughing at the funny actions of the monkeys you meet on the way to temple. On the way to Kandy, get down at a spice garden in Mathale where you’ll get introduce to enormous types of spices opening doors to sniff some cumin and cinnamon and taste some condemn and curry leaves.
Pay a visit to the sacred temple of the tooth where the left canine of the lord Buddha rests on a golden lotus after a city walk, tasting some popular local snacks like crunchy hoppers and mouth-watering Koththu. Have a closer look at the unique Sri Lankan traditions and the rituals admiring the frescoes and stunning stone and wood work of temple of the tooth.
Later in the evening enjoy a breath-taking cultural show, a stage full of traditional dancers and drummers along with thrilling fire actions. Return to the hotel for dinner and relax to get ready your stomach for the next food adventure of the food tour.
Day 5. Drive to Nuwara Eliya and on the way visit a tea factory
Here comes fifth day of the food tour and you are on your way to visit a tea factory dotted in the middle of a velvet green tea plantation. Look around factory greeted you with a tantalizing aroma of tea and learn about tea plantation and tea preparation. Taste a cup of Sri Lanka’s finest tea, a refreshing experience gazing at a scenic view of the hill country.
Time for sightseen and soak up the atmosphere of chilly Nuwara Eliya with a walk to the city centre. Your time in Nuwara Eliya will culminate with an exciting visit to the colourful local market full of fresh vegetables and fruits grow in the area.
Day 6. Take train to Ella
wake up in the morning to take a train ride to Ella Village from Nanuoya . A Scenic route with misty mountains covered with tea plantations and effortlessly falling water streams from high mountains creating rainbows.

Day 7.Go on Hike in Ella
Go on a hike to explore jaw-dropping views of Little Adam’s peak (Ella rock) and photo-worthy 9 arch railway bridge in the afternoon. A cup of Sri Lankan tea with traditional Sri Lankan sweets in the middle of a lush tea plantation is the pivotal part of the seventh day of the food tour.

this morning you are heading to Galle to capture the fusion of Colonial and Traditional Architecture .get relax gazing at the Ocean on top of the Galle Fort walls while refreshing in the Sea Breeze.
Spend the evening relaxing yourself watching the rolling blue waves of the ocean.

Day 9. Drive to Induruwa. (For an extended beach stay)
Wake up listening o the Symphony of the Indian Ocean and get ready to Experience another exciting day of the food tour.then the food tour Goes on a boat ride along the Madu River,rich in biodiversity and crowded with mangroves escaping the hustle -bustle of the City letting yourself getting closer to the nature.
Learn how to choose fresh seafood and pick some prawns from the fishermen by the river bank to prepare a traditional prawn dish for lunch. Enter the kitchen of a fisherman’s house in the beautiful cinnamon island and learn the secrets of the traditional southern Sri Lankan cuisine. Day 10 & 11.Relax in Induruwa Beach
Lost in ultimate serenity in a beach front villa relaxing in the salty atmosphere watching the high and low waves laced with sea foam. Take a sunbath calling your melanin to the surface of your skin. Go for a soothing Ayurvedic massage to relieve your mind as well as your body.
Day 12.Return to the airport
Enjoy a memorable breakfast in Mirissa with one of the finest dishes of the Sri Lankan cuisine-Milk rice, on the last day of the food tour. So, it’s time for you to return to the airport for your departure after an exciting food tour full of unforgettable adventures.
